Product Description

A rising stem gate valve is a type of valve that uses a stem or spindle connected to the gate or disc to control the flow of fluid through a pipeline or system. The stem rises and lowers as the valve is operated, providing a visual indication of the valve position

Gate design: The gate in a rising stem gate valve is a flat or wedge-shaped disc that moves perpendicular to the flow direction. When the valve is fully open, the gate is raised completely, allowing unobstructed flow. When the valve is closed, the gate descends to block the flow.
Stem movement: The stem of a rising stem gate valve extends above the valve body and is connected to the gate. As the handwheel or actuator is operated, the stem rotates or moves linearly, causing the gate to lift or lower. This movement allows for precise control of the flow rate.
